To create a spectacular show to close out the Figure Skating competitions at the 2026 Milano Cortina Winter Olympic Games, on the occasion of one of the most-watched events of the entire Games.

The challenge
OUR SOLUTION
A creative concept dedicated to talent, a tribute to the athletes and their stories of passion, sacrifice, and courage. A celebration of the journey of all athletes striving to pursue their dreams, and an encouragement to the audience to do the same. Ultimately, a show intended as a tribute to Italian creativity and innovation—values upheld and shared by Milano Cortina 2026.
We devised an innovative format that combined the beauty of figure skating performances with modern technology, using projections, LEDs, and lighting effects. The show was divided into four segments, each of which metaphorically explored the athlete’s journey of growth, from the discovery of talent to achieving full harmony with it.
The opening show was entrusted to figure skating legend Carolina Kostner, who—to the notes of original music composed for the show—performed a duet with a 3D projection, symbolizing the athlete’s encounter with and journey through her talent.
THE STRUCTURE OF THE SHOW
The entire Gala then unfolded in thematic acts, inspired by Carolina Kostner’s opening performance. The great international athletes, stars of the Games, performed spectacular routines within one of the artistic segments; the Olympic champions were the stars of the final act, BECOMING ONE, which depicted the fusion between the athlete and their talent.
